purgation

today was "purgation day" with the result that nicole was vomiting all morning (the herbal paste we had to eat did not work in the way intended) - my purpose was reached but i swear to god or krishna that this is the last day of this cure - we are leaving mararikulam tomorrow anyhow.
besides that, we are fine!

arrived safely...

india is lovely - the resort we are in as well. nevertheless, the first 5 days made us realise that ayurveda is not really our cup of tea. we feel pretty "locked up" in this perfect resort, our hair and skin greasy with smelly oil, eating a diet of slimy rice with coconut and curry leaves (I cannot even smell it anymore and am considering going into hunger strike!!!). the hours we escape from the resort provide us with the liveliest and most colourful moments of the day, so we actually decided to shorten our ayurveda treatment and travel around kerala instead... we will be here until saturday, then spend a night on a houseboat in the backwaters, be 3 more days in the backwaters (birdwatching, hopefully), and then we'll see what we'll do.

letzter pack-stress

from tomorrow on, nicole and i are on our way to complete relaxation (hopefully!), lively colours and good food --- india, here we come! shall i have the time, i will post some photos and blogs on this site rather than sending individual emails.
