we are still very fine - fighting with mosquitoes and cockroaches, the weather is mainly good (apart from some VERY STRONG rain), food is excellent, people lovely. we are enjoying the trip a lot.

since last night we are in sihanoukville at the beach, and it has started to rain (typical!). i am currently trying to organise a boat to a sandfly infested island, but cannot reach the people whom i was supposed to call, in order to arrange a fisherman to bring us there. but: what do we want on a desterted island in the rain (it has stopped now, though) and do we really want to have the worst boat trip of your life (it is quite windy and there are lots of waaaaaaves, and katja said she might tend to get seasick). all questions we need to consider - but for the moment it looks as if we do not manage to get there anyhow. grrrr.

we will get back to phnom penh the latest on friday, spend a few days there and then head towards siem reap (angkor) and take a boat to battambang from there - that is the plan at least.

from there i will also post the next round of pictures.
