Kep-sur-mer (back pt.2)

afterwards, we moved on to kep, where we spent some nice and relaxed time. it's cambodia's former jet set beach resort - very popular in the 50s and 60s. it was completely abandoned during khmer rouge regime, and all the (quite rich) owners of the mostly modernist summer houses did not survive - they are all in ruins now, most of them owned by no one. in the last few years, cambodians come back to kep, to eat crab and spend a day at the seaside. there is even electricity again. and not a lot of non-cambodian tourists, as kep doesn't have a sandy beach.
